Neil Anderson, MHSA

President and Chief Executive Officer

Neil has led Tributary Behavioral Health Services since 2018. He joined in 2009 as Vice President of Strategy and Development and was named Chief Operating Officer in 2014 before his promotion to CEO. Neil holds a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan and an undergraduate degree in Public Health from the University of Cincinnati. Before Tributary, he spent six years at HealthSpan Cincinnati, a federally qualified health center network, in operations and grants management. He serves on the board of the Kentucky Association of Regional Programs.

Daniel Westbrook, CPA, MBA

Chief Financial Officer

Daniel oversees finance, revenue cycle, contracting, and grant administration. Before joining in 2018, he spent twelve years in healthcare finance at Appalachian Regional Healthcare and CHI Saint Joseph Health, leading revenue cycle transformations across multi-site systems. He holds an MBA from the Gatton College of Business at the University of Kentucky and is a licensed CPA.

Renée Ferguson, MSW, LCSW

Chief Operating Officer

Renée is responsible for day-to-day operations across all 12 sites, including clinical scheduling, facilities, and regional director coordination. She joined Tributary in 2016 from Seven Counties Services in Louisville, where she served as Vice President of Adult Services. Renée holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Louisville and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Amir Hassan, MD, FAPA

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Hassan provides medical leadership across Tributary's outpatient, residential, and CCBHC programs and oversees psychiatric services, medication management, and the organization's primary care integration initiative. He is board-certified in Psychiatry and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and his fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine.

Vanessa Kim, PsyD

Chief Clinical Officer

Dr. Kim leads clinical strategy, evidence-based practice adoption, clinical training, and the organization's measurement-based care rollout. She joined Tributary in 2021 from Centerstone, where she served as Regional Director of Clinical Services. She earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Wright State University and completed her postdoctoral training at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center.

David Caldwell, JD, CHC

Chief Compliance Officer

David oversees Tributary's compliance program, including 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, state Medicaid reporting, CARF readiness, and CCBHC certification maintenance. Before joining Tributary in 2019, he was Senior Compliance Counsel at Bluegrass.org. He holds a JD from the University of Kentucky College of Law and is a Certified Healthcare Compliance professional.

Brent Mihalakis, MS

Chief Information Officer

Brent leads Tributary's information technology, EHR strategy, security, and analytics functions. He joined Tributary in 2020 from Norton Healthcare, where he was Director of Clinical Applications. Brent holds a Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of Cincinnati. He oversees a team of 14 IT professionals.

LaToya Brooks, MBA, CRCR

Vice President, Revenue Cycle

LaToya leads billing, claims management, denial appeals, and contracting for all payer relationships across three states. She has been with Tributary since 2019 and previously served as Revenue Cycle Director at WellSpring Counseling.

Patricia O'Sullivan, SPHR

Vice President, Human Resources

Patricia oversees recruiting, retention, training, benefits, and labor relations for Tributary's 640-member workforce across three states. She joined in 2017 and previously led HR for Frazier Rehab Institute.

Janelle Fitzgerald, PhD, LMFT

Director of Quality and Outcomes

Dr. Fitzgerald leads outcomes measurement, quality improvement, and CCBHC quality metrics reporting. She holds a PhD in Family Therapy from Purdue University and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Jonathan Chen, MSW, LCSW

Director of Clinical Operations

Jonathan supports the COO in clinical operational matters across all 12 sites — staffing, caseload management, clinical workflow standardization, and crisis response coordination.

Sarah Whitfield

Director of Marketing and Communications

Sarah leads brand, communications, community partnerships, and donor stewardship. She joined Tributary in 2023 from the Kentucky River Foothills Development Council.

Anil Patel, MS

Lead System Administrator

Anil leads day-to-day administration of Tributary's EHR platform, system integrations, and clinical/administrative workflow optimization across all 12 sites. He joined Tributary in 2020 from Lexington Clinic, where he was Senior Clinical Systems Analyst.

Marcus Tate, MSW, LCSW

Regional Director, Kentucky

Marcus oversees Tributary's four Kentucky sites: Lexington, Owensboro, Bowling Green, and Ashland. He has been with the organization since 2015.

Diane Pritchard, MA, LPC

Regional Director, West Virginia

Diane leads Tributary's West Virginia operations across Charleston, Huntington, Morgantown, and Beckley. She joined Tributary in 2023 to launch the West Virginia expansion and previously served as Clinical Director at Prestera Center.

Robert Adkins, MSW, LCSW

Regional Director, Ohio

Robert leads Tributary's Ohio operations across Athens, Marietta, Portsmouth, and Chillicothe. He joined in 2024 to launch the Ohio expansion and previously served as Director of Outpatient Services at Hopewell Health Centers.
